How to play

Click or tap the piano keys to play notes. On desktop, use the letters shown on the keys to play from your computer keyboard.

  • Chord DisplayShows note names and recognized chord symbols while you play.
  • Keyboard RangeUse the bottom control to move the visible keys or resize the playable range.
  • SustainClick the Sustain control to turn the pedal effect on or off.
  • Computer KeyboardPlay notes from your keyboard using the labels shown on the piano keys.
  • Note VisualizerSee falling note bars that follow the notes you play.
  • Install AppInstall VirtualPiano.io on your device for quick, app-like access.

What's New

  • Shape your sound

    Open Settings → Sound to adjust volume, reverb, brightness and release. Use − / = to transpose.

  • Four new instruments

    Choose Steel String Guitar, Music Box, Vibraphone or Harp in Settings → Instrument. Tap the play button beside any instrument to preview it without changing your selection.

  • MIDI keyboard support

    Play with expressive dynamics using a MIDI keyboard and sustain pedal. Connect your keyboard in Settings → MIDI Input and give it a try.
